Let It Go
However,is it a must??if we choose not to give, is that considered unethical then?well,of course, different cultures/countries have different opinions regarding that issue.anyway,in Japan,Tipping is not the common custom and it is almost never done at casual restaurants, as it is considered rude, implying that servers must be paid extra to ensure they do their job. (i think this entry looks like a research or something??!?haha)
AND.In Singapore,Tipping is not required, however it is common for restaurants to levy a 10% service charge before GST!
OKAY.OKAY.so here is my opinion:I really do not support the custom of giving tips.(I'd rather pay more for services so that workers can have a higher pay).cause its really subjective as to how much we should give.AND if they think the amount is too little, they may not serve us as well when we visit their shop the next time.of course, there wont be a problem if the amount is excess..(duhh??)I also think it is not very good cause workers will judge whether you are the type of person who will give tips when you first walk in to a shop.plus how much the tip is.which is saddening as stereotyping people will occur.:((okay, thats my opinion folks, others may disagree cause giving tips may be part of an ethical behaviour.polite maybe?and giving workers reward for their effort??so anyway,i went to a salon to do "smoothing" and i decided..after a really really long discussion in my own brain...not to give a tip..
AND AND..I really felt very bad after that..so should we give tips then???I DONT KNOW.hmfphh.
okay, this is my hair after "smoothing".i dont know why but i kinda regret this hairstyle.its too..straight and dull i would say??-.-
